At our facility they want to do telemedicine it would be a short video and have a visual exam of the patient, as well as the lung and heart exams. What CPT code would me used? I picked CPT Code 99444

Telemedicine

Each payer has different guidelines about what they will cover under telemedicine, what the provider must do, and what codes they cover. I would check out the Medicare website on telemedicine and see if what the provider is doing falls under their guidelines. Many payers are following Medicare.
