We have a patient that lives rather far away from our office and is often provided non-face-to-face evaluations via telephone by the provider. The telephone E/M codes 90441-99443 are not payable by all carriers and we often find ourself unable to be reimbursed by the carrier or fighting for the reimbursment.

Does anyone have any suggestions as to how else we may code or ways we may get paid by the carrier?
