can anyone explain this?


physician admit a patient at night and giving admission orders over the phone, can doctor charge for that day eventhough he didn't physically see the patient.
 
No... the physician must be physically present during H&P which is required for E&M services. The physician may, once they see the patient the next day, document and bill for the H&P.
