I am being asked if our clinicians can bill telephonic services to a patient while inpatient in a PT rehab facility. My gut reaction is to say no based on previous conversations about a patient being inpatient at a hospital for other care. Has anyone had a similar experience and what do you think?

Inpatient rehab (POS 61) is treated the same as a "general" or acute care hospital (POS 21).

We're not using phone visits right now, so I don't trust that I'm up to date on that, so I will leave that part for someone else.
