I'm in Massachusetts and code for primary care and we have some patients that winter in Florida. There's an article in the April 2022 AAPC Healthcare Business Monthly magazine about telehealth audits and performing this service with patients in other states.
It states our providers must be licensed in the state where the patient is because the patient location is the driver.
Is anyone going through this now, or does anyone have any feedback on this subject?
