Post CABG- the temp pacing wires that are implanted for "just in case" scenario. These wires are usually snipped before discharge. If patient returns to the office surgeons AFTER global period and physician removes them (small incision & pulls out) is there a code for that? I see 33234....but I think that is PERMANENT pacer electrodes. I have never seen this done before
