Patient diagnosis is testicular carcinoma .I work at an ASC and doc office booking was a dx of 233.6. From reading the history all doc says was testicular carcinoma , would that be code 186.9 ?,if not why ? thanks- - patient is for a porth a cath

From your documentation it is 186.9. You might however query the office to see if more documentation exists such as a path report because the is a big difference in these dx codes for the patient.
