I have recently found out that for a while our clinical scribes were told that they did not need orders for testing (FAs, OCTs, FPs, etc).
What level of responsibility would I be held to and what action should I take? I am a CPC and CPMA. I also know that some testing is done on New Patients before our doctors ever see the patient. I am very concerned.
