Hi everybody. I am consulting a group that supplies testosterone pellets to doctorsoffices, and am trying to assist the doctors' in getting paid. The pevious coder was using the cpt code to the implantation, an s code for the supply of the pellets, and then also a J code ( for unlisted medical drug), but the insurance companies are turning them own. My opinion is that the J code is what is throwing it off initially ( as there isn't an official J code for the pellet) and then that the supply code is the secnd killer of the claim. Anyone else having success or issues with this? I appreciate any and all advice
