I work for a inpatient drug and alcohol treatment facility. I am just needing verification regarding urine lab tests. Upon arrival to the facility the pts go through a number of tests for drug and alcohol screening and the women have a pregnancy test. My question is if these tests billable. I thought they are not due to the fact that they are part of the admission process not an acute problem.
I am just wanting to double check that this is correct thinking.
