If patient is coming in for Therapeudic IV Infusion and IVPs are given, the normal saline J7040 & J7042 are not coded as they are part of the infusion, right? This is not for dehydration.
 
If I remember correctly, fluids are considered a supply if it is not used as "hydration". Some commercial insurance carriers will accept this as a supply, but if Im not mistaken, you wouldnt bill it to government carriers unless of course it was a hydration.
