Can anyone tell me how to code Botox injections? I have been told that you cannot bill the number of sites any longer. That it is either right side or left side and if you inject the same area on each side of the face i.e. right brow/left brow you use the 50 modifier with 1 unit. This takes reimbursement down, way down from using E1, E2, E3 and E4. Can anyone help?

Therapeutic Botox-nevermind

I have found the answer, Botox injections are essentially billed for a muscle group so you typically bill for right side and left side only. You would bill with modifier 50 if both sides are injected.
