Hi Everyone!
I am scheduled to take my COBGC this weekend! I am doing perfect with the E/M questions on my practice exam, however I am finding that I am getting stuck on what is included in a global surgery, and what is not. I have been coding OB/GYN prenatal visits, E/Ms and outpatient procedures for 2 years now, but I am just starting on surgeries. I do know that anything that the provider uses to check his or her work (ie. cystoscope), catheter placement, and anything exploratory are included in the gobal for the surgery.
Does anyone else have any tips or hints for this? I did order a OB/GYN specific CPT book, but it will not be here in time for my exam.
Anything would be very helpful!
