Wiki Thumb spica splint code

Does anyone know the CPT code for a thumb spica splint. This was applied to the hand/wrist?

We use 29125 for application and QM or QA 29125 depending on pt's age.

Is it a prefabricated supply or did the provider apply material to form the splint?

The chart only states a thumb plica splint was done on the hand/wrist. Do you have any suggestions?

My ortho office uses a pre fab thumb spica. The HCPC for a Liberty or Euro thumb spica is L3807. I would ask the provider to elaborate. You need a little more than the sentence provided to determine if you bill prefab supply or application code (29125) and splint/casting HCPC (Q code).
