I work for Internal Medicine doctors who love to code TIA in an office visit. Can someone point me to something I can print out that explains to them that they should not code TIA unless the patient had a stroke in their office, in which case they should have sent them to the ER, or am I incorrect? Can they code TIA in an office visit?
