Transoral Incisionless Fundoplication, CPT assistant specifically states there is no CPT code for this and to report 43659 Unlisted laparoscopy procedure; stomach, of course the rep that sold the system to my practice informed the MDs that it would be paid every time. So here's my question, "Is anyone else out there doing this as well and if so are you getting reimbursed on this CPT or are you being directed by individual payers to use other CPT codes?" or are these claims being denied as an experimental procedure?
