Wiki Time Based Codes

Is is accurate to say that for the time based codes, anything under 16 minutes is not billable? I have a doctor who is doing 15 minutes and billing for it, but time requirements changed in 2013- the first increment being 16-37 minutes.....this question is in regards to the time based codes only....

Are you talking About the new psych codes? If so the yes a min of 16 min must be docents as face to face with patient/ family to be billed
