Question Timely Filing during Covid

I had heard word of mouth that Timely filing during the pandemic was waived. Has anyone actually seen documentation on this matter? Thank you for your help

Several payers extended their timely filing period for a brief time but we were still expected to adhere to the longer filing period and they issued notice when they were ending that grace period and returning to the contracted timely filing periods. It was published in their COVID policies and updates if they were extending the filing period.
