Is there a specific time frame to be followed to determine whether two procedures should be combined into one? For example if a patient has a 1 view chest xray at 4pm and then a complete abdomen, 74020, at 4:45pm should it be billed as two separate procedures or combined into a 74022?

Is there a specific time frame? If the procedures were 3 hours apart certainly you would NOT combine those.
