I'm still learning ortho and have a question that I have been researching of one of our providers.
Can the provider bill the clubfoot casting code 29450 if the provider is manipulating the foot/ankle and applying a molding cast for toe walking?
The goal is to stretch the calf muscle by getting the foot/ankle in proper alignment to prevent the child from walking on their toes and it is a series of visits much like clubfoot casting where the cast is changed, the foot/ankle moved/manipulated into correct alignment to further stretch the calf muscles each time and usually a short leg walking cast applied.
