We are a community health center and a Medicare pt came in for toenail trimming. Any input on how to code this? From my research, it appears Medicare does not cover routine foot care.

Medicare does not cover routine foot care. They would need to have a covered diagnosis. There should be an NCD or an LCD with the covered reasons
