Tonsillectomy-The doctor only

The doctor only removed the left tonsil. The patient had a history of cancer, and the physician thought that the tonsil could be malignant, but it was benign. So is there a code for a partial tonsillectomy? 42826 decribes removing both left and right tonsils and I'm unable to locate a modifier that would describe the procedure. Anyone with suggestions?
 
THank you for your quick response. I had considered using modifier 52, however, the endcoder that I use states that 52 is not to be used with procedures that require anesthesia. However, I think this is going to be my only option. Maybe the information in the endcoder is outdated.
