I have a situation where a fellow begins to write a note and only half fills out the template in the EMR at 3:48pm. The teaching physician goes in at 4:44 and writes a linking statement to the fellow's note. LAter that evening the fellow goes back into the EMR to finish the clinic note.

Does the teaching physician have to go back and write another linking statement to the completed note?

Anyone know of anywhere I can find documentation on a situation like this?
