Report states "A Subcarinal transbronchial needle aspiration was performed using a fine (21) gauge needle and sent for cytology and cytology cell block. Specimens were obtained from the 7 (subcarinal) lymph nodes. Four samples were obtained."
Is this still coded 31629? Does that qualify for the description of 31629 ..... bipopsy(s), trachea, main stem and/or lobar bronchus(i)?
