Hi, I am wondering what is the best way to bill a TAVR via Transcaval access? Any help is appreciated.
 
Hi mhaney - My docs bill these as unlisted because it's venous rather than arterial entry, and they have to puncture through from the IVC into the aorta to deliver the valve. This route of access is not captured by any of the current TAVR codes.
