Can someone tell me how you would code a platelet transfusion, and then iv injection for benadryl and hydrocortizone? Patient had one unit of platelets, irradiated, leukocytes reduces. Also had the two injections through iv for the benadryl and hydrocort... I can't seem to find good reference material on this subject. :(
 
ON-Q pain pump

Hi I'm new to AAPC.Can anyone help me find a good cpt code for the ON-Q
pain pump? I have tried 49999 but so far only Humana has paid. Medicare is
the worst:rolleyes: . We use this in Bariatric Surgeries. Thanks
