Does anyone know if there are any cpt codes in which you can bill specifically for E/R follow up visits. We see patients 3 days after they are seen in the E/R, regular office visit. Would cpt 99495 and 99496 qualify to bill after a patient is seen/admitted? Based on the description we contact patient once the hospital discharge or admission report is received within 2 days.

My doctors made reference to certain codes, but those codes are the only ones I can think of that may qualify.
