For payers that are not Medicare I am looking for advice on how to bill the 8 hour pre transplant evaluation in the Transplant Clinic.
There are Dietitians, pharmacist, cardiology and transplant coordinators involved in this time. AS well as RN's. RIght now each department (cariology, pharmacy, dietary and coordinators) bill the transplant clinic and no charge are submitted to private insurance. For Medicare those services are submitted on a cost report but for private insurance we would like to charge insurance for those services.
Does anyone work in a Transplant Center that I could message or talk to?
