I have a provider that would like to bill for travel allowance to send their phlebotomist to an RCF that the provider services and draw labs. Is this allowed? The MLN updated this year and references "Other providers billing MAC for specimen collection."

Is a private practice provider able to bill for travel allowances or is this for independent laboratories?
