I'm trying to code an Op report for "Anesthesia Assisted Rapid Opioid Detoxification" and am not sure if I should use an unlisted code or IV Transfusion Code, 96365, 96366 x7, J2310, or 99199? The procedure is fairly new, and only 3 Physicians are using it in the US. The service was provided by an Anesthesiologist. The service was done at an out-patient surgical center, and the patient was under anesthesia for 8 hours with constant infusion of Naloxone for opioid withdrawal. If anyone can help, I'd sure appreciate it.
