Patient had an SCC removed from the scalp by our Mohs physician. To aid in healing, the provider chiseled the skull table (outer bone cortex). There was no cancer on the skull. This based on a newer study for chronic scalp wounds that are not healing. I am not seeing any codes for the removal of the outer part of the skull. Any ideas if this can even be coded or included in the Mohs?
