Does anyone know why the Initial Trigger point injection pays more than the multiple code? Why Just one pays more than if multiple are done?

What payer are you asking about? NGS for CT pays $60.48 for code 20552 and $70.22 for 20553, so the multiple pays more. If you have a problem with payment from a specific payer, you may want to check your contract. 20553 has higher RVUs than 20552, but sometimes prices for specific codes are specially negotiated.
