Hi, does anyone code TriVex vein surgery? I'm not sure I agree with the code 37785, which is what I was told to use. Anyone have any documentation? Thanks in advance.
 
It sounds like a phlebectomy procedure (37765/37766). The total number of stab incisions needs to be documented for these.

Hi again,
From what I've read about the procedure there are no stab incisions, it sounds like they make an incision at the top of the leg, insert a device, and it goes all the way to the ankle the they "pull out the vein" (so to speak). They use light to guide the way. Anyone else code these?
