Hello, First time poster here..

My cardiologist is reading/interpreting an outpatient hospital ECHO. The only codes I am coming up with is 93306/25 - is this correct? Even if he does not own the equipment, and it is being performed out of the office? Thanks in advance for any answers!
 
The interpretation of the TTE is coded with the -26 modifier, not the -25. You use -25 only with an E&M, and the -26 designates the professional component (interpretation and report) for the diagnostic test. Make sure you have a written report to support the read. 93306-26 is with color doppler, and 93307 is without. 93308-26 is a limited or follow up TTE (unlikely, but check the documentation to make sure). Bill the POS 22, where the face-to-face took place.
