Would physical deconditioning due to COVID19 (not an active infection) qualify as a sequelae for using U09.9? If so, what code would I use to describe such condition?

You would only code the U09.9 if the provider is specifically listing the physical deconditioning as being due to the Covid-19 directly. If so, the physical deconditioning would be coded first, followed by the U09.9.
