Our clinic recently upgraded our screening machine and now we can do urinalysis screenings and confirmations for drug testing. Now that we have added confirmations, we are having issues with BCBS for G0482. Located in Texas. Texas BCBS does cover G0482 but we have found when submitted with 80307 they are denying the G code and paying for only the screening, 80307. They will pay the G0480 when we submit a corrected claim. How do you bill screening, 80307, and confirmation for G0482 and get both codes paid for?
