Our office is new to Pain Mgmt, and I was hoping to get some clarification regarding UDS. Is there a limit to how often you can screen a patient? Our provider wants to screen every patient every time they are in the office. Also, can anybody recommend a reliable source that we could go to for Pain Mgmt questions?

Medicare LCD's and individual payer Medical Policies will dictate how often you can get reimbursed for drug screens. It will vary from payer to payer.
