Has anyone recently experienced that uhc is denying EMG codes. The provider performed EMG bilaterally on deltoid, bicep, tricep, flexor carpi radialis, thenar, hypothenar muscles. But they are stating that CPT 95861 is not appropriate for this service. They want us to use a different code. Any input is greatly appreciated.

Was the EMG the only service that was performed on this DOS?
