My ortho wants to code 76942 for ultrasound guidance of needle placement for an injection, and also use 76882 ultrasound limited of the extremity. Dictation reads "utilizing ultrasound for needle guidance and limited study, we injected rt knee with....."

Is this correct? I'm trying to study up on this but having a difficult time. Please help.
