Is it appropriate to code 93975/93976 with a diagnostic abd, pelvic or scrotal US. Tech states it is protocol to do Doppler on every US. She said sometimes the order states with doppler but not always, sometime the indication is eval for torsion. Just looking for some guidance on weather or not is appropriate to code both the diagnostic US and the doppler.
