The doctor ordered a ultrasound of the abodomen with Doppler,Portal,Hepatic and Splenic Vein. Can anyone help with the correct cpt? I think that it is the 76700. Thanks
 
no, I feel the correct one is 93975- Duplex Scan of arterialinflow an dvenous outflow of abdominal , pelvic scrotal...... complete Study; or 93976 limited study
 
To code duplex (93975-93976) below criteria should met

Ideally, the technique section of a duplex exam will specifically state that color and spectral Doppler was performed. or else it should be esclate instead of coding as duplex.
