Hi,

When an ED Attending performed ultrasound guidance in order to visualize a vein after multiple failed attempts by nurse, what is the correct CPT code? The provider is currently billing 76937 but it's an add on code and no primary code is billed. Someone suggested to code 36410 with 76937. I was looking into 76942. Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated. Thank You
