Patient has breast cancer. Tattooing of the biopsy-proven malignant node was recommended to facilitate its identification at her eventual axillary surgery following chemotherapy.

The operative note states: After cleaning the skin with alcohol at the base of the ultrasound transducer, I anesthetized the skin with 1% lidocaine and introduced 0.5mL of SPOT tattoo
directly into the lymph node with good visualization of the needle within the lymph node itself on ultrasound. This was injected with a 25 gauge needle.

Patient in non-Medicare.

Looking for CPT code. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

thank you!
