I work in a Nephrology and Urology office. When our xray tech does a renal ultrasound or pelvic ultrasound do we need to have a report separate from the provider's note?

When a physician is billing for an interpretation and report, it is expected to be as substantial as a radiologist would do.

Cms is working with and acknowledges the ACR as a reputable source for the specialty. The ACR is formatting the appropriate use criteria for the Federal Government.
