The providers are identifying umbilical cord conditions during the prenatal period and I am not able to find the correct code to capture this with ICD 10. The only available codes relating to umbilical cord complications are during labor and delivery only. Would we not code for this condition at all during the prenatal period? I reviewed the section for Maternal care related to the fetus but was not able to find anything.

O43.12 for velamentous insertion. We are using o43.19 codes for 2 -vessel cord, etc.
