Provider is billing an Unlisted code 53899 for a UroCuff urinary system test. This procedure is similiar to 51728 except that its Non invasive and provides more sufficient bladder pressure results. Test is not listed in Medicare fee schedule or ASC allowable list but is approved from the FDA. Should this code be accepted and paid?
