Hello Billing Folks,
I had a patient present for a Vivitrol (Naltrexone) injection for opioid addiction treatment which is (j2315).
, he signed consent went over everything like injection site, follow-up, affect of drug, the entire gamete.
When the Provider was about to inject the patient he changed his mind he did not want to be injected in buttocks.
Now the medication is useless and must be discarded. Can we still bill for the Medicine itself? maybe not the administration and he did sign the consent forms.
I hope this makes sense.
