Our physician recently delivered an infant (vaginally) who needed immediate care, therefore another physician delivered the placenta and performed repair. I am unsure as to our global coding, as we cared for patient for antepartum care and post partum care also. Would I bill 59400 with modifier 52? Or do I need to split the antepartum- 59426, 59410 with modifier 52? or yet another option w/ use of the two surgeons modifier- 59426, 59410 with modifier 62?
