Pt was rushed to OR for emergent C/S, the CRNA was busy already in the OR with another case, a doctor was called in to handle the conscious sedation for the OB pt while the other 2 doctors were doing the C/S. The provider handling the conscious sedation then transitioned over to care for the newborn at birth in respiratory distress with resuscitation for about 10 minutes until the RT got there to take over. Any advice on how to code the type of scenario would be helpful as I have not had this type of case before and at a lose.
