Hello!
I have a pt that had upper and lower extremity studies done (93971) on the same day. Is there anything special I have to do so it won’t get denied as duplicate? The dx I have is localized edema R60.0 for both. Is there a modifier or do I need more distinct DX’s to show it was done on the upper and lower? I feel like I’m missing something obvious…
